Html5 ad program
I designed and developed an internal application that converts Illustrator-exported SVG artwork into deployment-ready HTML5 display ads.
The tool allows designers or marketers to drag in one or multiple SVG files, adjust campaign-specific settings such as UTM parameters and ad-platform requirements, and instantly generate complete ZIP packages ready for upload to platforms such as Google Ads.
90% Slower workflow
The Challenge
Previously, completed ad designs had to be manually recreated inside Google Web Designer before they could be launched. This added hours of repetitive production work, slowed campaign delivery, and introduced opportunities for inconsistencies between the approved design and the final advertisement.
The Solution
I created a streamlined drag-and-drop workflow that:
Accepts SVG files individually or in bulk
Preserves artwork created by any member of the design team
Supports campaign-specific UTM parameters
Tailors output to the requirements of different ad platforms
Automatically generates complete, upload-ready ZIP files
Retains the sharpness and scalability of vector artwork across supported screen sizes and web placements
Impact
The application reduced a multi-step manual process to a matter of minutes. It eliminated the need to rebuild approved creative in a separate ad-design platform, saved hours of production time, and allowed marketing to move directly from final design files to campaign deployment.
I independently conceived, designed, and developed the application from start to finish. I defined the workflow, built the SVG conversion and packaging system, implemented the campaign customization options, and tested the final output for use within the marketing team’s advertising process.
Along with successfully utilizing the program, I made sure it was fully notarized through the Apple Developer Program so it could be freely distributed among my team for years to come.
